Dr. Bauman obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Miami. She went on to pursue her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at The University of Miami Counseling Center in Coral Gables, Florida. In 2000, she began working at The Renfrew Center, a center specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, where she completed a year of post doctoral residency and went on to fulfill the roles of individual therapist, family therapist, and team leader.
During her time at The Renfrew Center, Dr. Bauman began working in a group practice treating individuals, couples, and families with a wide array of symptoms ranging from depression to anxiety to relationship stress. In 2003, Dr. Bauman left The Renfrew Center to open a private practice in Miami, Florida. She has been working full time in the group and private practice settings until her recent move to North Carolina, where she is continuing to offer her services.
